About Brighton, MI - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Brighton is a Metro Detroit suburb located in the southeastern portion of Livingston County. This community is home to nearly 7,500 residents, and it is served by Brighton Area Schools. There are also several satellite college campuses located here, including Eastern Michigan University, Cleary University, Lansing Community College, and Washtenaw Community College. The history of the community dates back to the 1830s, and there have been several initiatives to revitalize the downtown area, including displaying art and making streetscape improvements.

Brighton is home to a wide variety of attractions and areas of interest. Outdoor enthusiasts often enjoy a trip to the suburb to spend time at Mt. Brighton or Island Lake State Recreational Center, and there are several popular golf courses located here, including the Golf Club at Mt. Brighton, Lakelalnds Golf and Country Club, and the Golf Club of Michigan. There are two main shopping centers located in the community - Brighton Mall and Green Oak Village Place – and other popular Brighton area attractions include Brewery Becker, The Lingenfelter Collection, and Stone Coop Farm.

This community is located within the heart of the Great Lakes Region, so weather will vary quite dramatically from season to season. The summer months are warm with occasional thunderstorms, and in the hottest month of July, average highs reach about 82 degrees Fahrenheit. However, warm fronts with temperatures that exceed 90 are perfectly common, and when this hot weather moves into the area, residents are thankful to have a reliable central air conditioning system ready at home.

As part of a continental climate biome, winter months in Brighton tend to be cold with moderate to heavy snowfall. While this might make the area popular for skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling, the freezing temperatures that often follow can become dangerous. To stay safe, residents and visitors alike need to have access to a home heat pump or furnace system.
